High School Exchange

Every trip you book with us provides direct support to responsible local NGOs, ensuring your presence drives sustainable, positive change long after you return home.

What's in store!

More than a Program.

Our High School Exchange Program in Jaipur is a short-term (2 weeks to 1 month) opportunity to study, explore, and live like a local. It’s more than just travel – It’s a chance to grow, learn and return home with life skills, stronger confidence and unforgettable memories.

We blend academics with adventure, giving students a global perspective, cultural understanding and the independence to shape their future.

CBSE Schools

We cooperate with 5 CBSE schools in Jaipur which are open to receive our participants.

Why do we choose CBSE and not state board schools?

CBSE is much more student-friendly than State Boards. Its course structure ensures less pressure and makes learning interactive and engaging. Fun activities between chapters help students learn in a playful and enjoyable way.

CBSE imparts quality knowledge and supports overall physical and mental growth. It encourages students to pursue sports alongside studies and places strong emphasis on their physical development.

CBSE offers flexibility to explore interests. At every stage, students can choose their preferred stream without any compulsion. HSE students can choose from Humanities, Science, Commerce or Arts streams.

Choosing a High School Exchange is a big decision for both students and parents, and questions about maturity, safety, benefits, and readiness are completely natural.

A High School Exchange gives students the opportunity to experience a new culture and education system while developing independence, confidence, decision-making, adaptability, and global awareness—skills that are increasingly valuable in today’s world.

Jaipur offers a welcoming and peaceful environment for this experience. From finding the right school to accommodation and day-to-day support, the host family and STEP Beyond Borders team stay closely involved throughout the journey, ensuring your child is guided and supported every step of the way.

Your questions and concerns matter. We are happy to provide more details and help you make an informed decision about your child’s exchange experience.
